The SXSW EDU event is a component of the popular South by Southwest (SXSW) conference and festival. Spanning the course of four days, guests can listen to speakers, join interactive workshops, network and more. Known as a hub for creativity and sharing ideas, SXSW EDU brings together passionate individuals who are looking to inspire meaningful change. If you are interested in the topics of online education and wellness in higher ed, you’ll want to stop by our presentation.
Our session, Academic Ghost Hunters: Stop Student Ghosting, is led by Julie Delich and Amy Blankson. Mental health and student retention are major concerns for online and hybrid educators, with more than 23% of students “ghosting” their academic advisors and teachers. Join us to discover ways to make meaningful connections with students and increase engagement and enjoyment in the classroom.
